💡✍️ADN #134: Easy To Find, Hard To Forget
Jun 08, 2025If you’re hard to find, you’re easy to ignore.
If you’re easy to forget, you’re impossible to build around.
Attention spans are short.
Choices are endless.
You’re not just competing against other artists, you’re competing against everything.
You need two things to survive:
- Be discoverable.
- Be unforgettable.
If people have to work too hard to find you, they won’t.
If they find you and forget you, good luck.
Your job is to remove friction at the front door and build resonance once they’re inside.
SYSTEM: Lower the Barrier, Raise the Bar
Be obvious about who you are and what you’re about.
Clear > clever.
Control the first impression.
Profiles, websites, and socials should tell the story instantly.
Give them a reason to stay.
Memorable music.
Memorable story.
Memorable world.
CHECKLIST
❑ Is it easy for a stranger to find your best work?
❑ Is your story clear the second they land on your page?
❑ Is there something unforgettable about your experience, brand, or offer?
If not, you’re missing out on opportunities.
REMEMBER
Attention is expensive.
Confusion is a killer.
People don’t owe you a second chance to explain yourself.
ACTION STEPS:
- Audit your online presence: Would a stranger know who you are, what you do, and why it matters within 10 seconds?
- Highlight your best work, don’t bury it.
- Build one small “signature moment,” something unique they’ll associate with you (a phrase, a song, a feeling, a visual).
Be easy to find and impossible to forget.
That’s how you grow.
See you next Sunday,
Neil
